Legal Implications
The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 prevents practitioners, apart from registered vets from diagnosing. It also prevents practitioners from prescribing drugs or give treatments on the basis of a ley diagnosis (somebody that hasn’t got a professional qualification allowing them to diagnose). Therapies can be carried out by ley people but under the supervision and permission of a vet.
Before carrying out any sesson on your horse, i will ask you to get veterinary permission first. This is to ensure the horse is completly sound and can have the treatment.

Vet reports can be written after the session for your vet. If your vet would like a vet report of the session, please tell us when you book in the session so that we can get it done as soon as possible for you.
